In this series of works with Lisa, I turn to art, history, literature of the past and present, creating a new myth, my own Odyssey. Postmodernism is always ironic, and the “secondary nature” of an ordinary plot only allows you to look at the plot from different angles. I create a new story, a myth, an “odyssey” from the flow of my thoughts. Of course, I was inspired by Homer's Odyssey and James Joyce's Ulysses. Who is this girl Lisa? Have you ever wanted to know who the little girl Lisa was who later became the famous Mona Lisa? What did she read, what did she dream about, who did she make friends with? Did she listen to or read Homer's Odyssey, so popular during the Renaissance? Maybe the smile of the “sphinx” of the adult Mona Lisa is the result of little Lisa’s travels and her meetings with magical creatures from Homer’s book?
The odyssey of the girl Lisa comes to an end, as the journey with Odysseus and the reading of the book ends. The hero Odysseus returned home from a long journey. But no one will recognize the hero, since the goddess Athena turns him into an old beggar. Odysseus wins the competition with a bow, punishes the people who betrayed him, as well as the servants and suitors who besiege his wife. Penelope, the wife of Odysseus, recognizes her husband even in the form of an old man. Everything ends well, now Lisa will no longer worry about the hero. Lisa, having finished reading the book, saw Homer walking among the stars. She smiled at him like an old friend. He plays the lyre and tells her a new poem dedicated only to her, a little girl, but in the future. Her portrait will one day be drawn by the great magician and artist Leonardo da Vinci. People will be guessing her smile for centuries. The little lotophagus showed her a portrait depicting an unfamiliar woman. - Who is this? - Lisa is confused. -You won’t recognize this smile, look carefully in the mirror, Lisa!.. Lisa smiled and said: Shh, let this remain a secret, when I read Homer and thought about the journey of Odysseus, I always smiled dreamily..

Она улыбнулысь ему, как старому другу. Он играет на лире и рассказывает ей новую поэму, посвященную только ей, маленькой девочке, но в будущем. Ее портрет однажды нарисует великий маг и художник Леонардо да Винчи, а люди разгадывать ее улыбку.
